The Technical Standards and Safety Authority is Ontario's public safety regulator. TSSA is mandated by the Government of Ontario to enforce safety regulations in the following sectors: Fuels, Boilers and Pressure Vessels, Operating Engineers, Elevators, Escalators, Ski Lifts, Amusement Devices, Upholstered and Stuffed Articles.
