Oak Learners is a private alternative school and learning centre, offering a full-time day school as well as a wide variety of academic and arts-based extra-curricular and co-curricular programming, including tutoring, music, art, outdoor learning, dance, mindfulness and yoga. Summer Camps at Oak Learners are a flagship program that brings hundreds of local families through our center each year. At Oak Learners, we strive to deliver an engaging curriculum that is progressive, interdisciplinary, and most importantly student-driven. Not only are we an innovative not-for-profit learning centre, but we are also a team of leaders in the community, working to ensure all students are supported and cared for. Our Team at Oak Learners is the strength of our school. We look for vibrant, innovative and experienced educators to work with our students. We have a team of full-time and part-time Elementary Teachers, After-School Tutors, Academic Coaches, Behaviour and Literacy Specialists, Music Teachers, Art Teachers, and more! Seasonal summer staff are encouraged to stay on board throughout the year to enrich the relationships with students that they build during the camp season.
