Project Manager
Full job description Our client, Bell Canada, is looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager for a long term contract. The ideal candidate would have working experience and certifications in Scaled Agile SAFe framework. Responsibilities: Plan and implement technical projects, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to track project progress and ensure that deadlines are met. Assign tasks to team members, monitor progress, and ensure that project milestones are achieved. Manage project risks, issues, and changes, and develop contingency plans to address them. Ensure that project requirements are met and that all deliverables are of high quality. Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders, including team members, senior management, and clients. Coordinate and facilitate project team meetings, including preparing agendas and meeting minutes. Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and change logs. Provide technical guidance and support to team members and ensure that technical solutions are feasible and cost-effective. Manage project budgets and ensure that all project expenses are within budgetary constraints. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in technical project management, including managing software development projects. Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and manage project teams. Solid technical background, including experience with software development methodologies and technologies, specifically with knowledge of the full stack SDLC. Working experience in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and knowledge of agile software development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban. Knowledge of cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and experience with deploying applications to the cloud. Experience with API integration, including RESTful APIs and web services. Familiarity with backend systems and databases, including SQL and NoSQL databases. Experience with project management software, such as Confluence and JIRA, and collaboration tools, such as Miro, Webex, and Slack. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
